R.C. Campbell diary, 1912-1914.

Contains the diary of a student at the University of California, describing student life including sports, scraps with the campus cops, recreations like target shooting and photography, his jobs and personal finances, classes, the "Big Game" and the Campanile (Sather Tower) construction, as well as national and local events like the presidential election, a small pox scare in Berkeley and preparations for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition. Diary was kept in a book sold by the Students Co-operative Society at the University of California.
